Your child's best start in life !

Welcome to Wisdom Woods School, an early learning centre. It is an initiative by a group of educationists who understand the importance of giving children the best start in life. Our school provides a warm, nurturing and engaging atmosphere that is conducive to learning at an early age.

Our philosophy is that children learn best by participating. We therefore provide an active, lively, and cheerful environment in which children learn through play and discover new knowledge through guided activity. We emphasise the benefits of music and drama with plenty of singing and dancing, as well as exhibitions of artwork and other creative endeavours. We believe that all children have the right to achieve their full potential, and we strive to create an environment that is supportive, stimulating, and encouraging. Our aim is to ensure that all children in our care are happy, confident, well-motivated, and enthusiastic about learning. We also focus on children as individuals, developing talents and skills in each child, helping them to focus on specific developmental needs whilst building upon their strengths so that they can excel.

Our Philosophy

Playful curiosity and the freedom to explore is nature’s way to help children learn.

❖ Less is more – Since every student learns differently, it is critical that we focus more on the student rather than the content. We believe that the child is the centre of learning and the content is a part of the environment that surrounds the child. If there is less pressure on the students and the teachers in terms of the curriculum and homework, they have more control over their learning and teaching abilities respectively.

     ★ Less content means more depth which helps to give the child a strong base,
     ★ Less homework means more time to play and interact with family,
     ★ Fewer students per teacher means more individual attention,
     ★ Our flexible structure indicates a high level of trustworthiness

We trust the teachers to be highly trained individuals and therefore give them freedom to create the type of classroom environment that they feel is best for their individual students.  The parents trust the teachers to make decisions that will help their children to learn and thrive. 

❖ We emphasize the intellectual, physical, social, moral and spiritual development of a child, through which a child develops an integrated personality.

❖ Our approach to education is two-fold, recognizing the importance of both whole class teaching; (presenting the children with an exciting new concept or idea), and giving the children freedom to experiment and explore, using hands on activities to complete the learning process.

❖ Activities in the Playgroup, Nursery and KG sections are provided to enable a child to develop skills in key areas: art and craft, language and literacy, science and math, reading, writing, knowledge and understanding of nature, singing, dancing, sports, etc.

❖ All of these enriching activities are designed to foster concentration, imagination, inquiry, conceptual ability, critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, eye-hand coordination, social, emotional and physical development.
